Looks like mrs dlt is gonna be out of commission for a few weeks,she fell last night and broke her ankle and is in ninewells,she is getting an op this morning to reset the bone and possibly put a pin in as well.

just wanted to let you all know and i hope she has a speedy recovery

not too sure.

thing that pissed me right off was she was lying in the stairwell for nearly an hour before the ambulance turned up

The Scottish Ambulance Service is a Special Health Board so they stand on their own. There's a complaints procedure you'd have to go through first.

Just spoke to Martin, Gail is now out of surgery and being kept in overnight. Ankle has been pinned and plated. In pain but also in good spirits and thanks you all for the messages

So sorry to hear your news mrs dlt. Wish you a speedy and successful recovery. Jintz the clutz broke her ankle at the age of 10 after falling off her pogo stick.....you wernt pogoing were you missus??? Take care and get mega pampering. xxx

hiya , hope Gail recovers soon! I got my boot off yesterday and will have a set of crutches going soon she can have , she cant have my walking stick though gonna need that for a while yet !!
