Do the regular attendees at the socials buy new rig outs each time a new social comes up ?

Hotels , taxis and drinks for the night. Wondering does it cost more for a fab related night out or vanilla one or just the same ?

Nope dont buy something new , as long as i am clean and tidy i have no need to have something new (coz am skint lol) , travel costs are minimal as i use the train and i am the same whether its a fab night or a vanilla night out .

I dont buy a new outfit everytime as ive always got something in the wardrobe thats not been worn to before lol

only additional cost compared to a vanilla night is hotel costs but i always manage to get a good deal in then with forward planning and good budgeting so its all good

I, Mrs would always buy something new for each fab social, especially if your seeing the same folk!

Most of the time I buy a new frock, although it's normally a sale one from New Look. Only time I don't is if it's a different crowd going to social. If it's a Glasgow social I would, but then recycle it and use it at a Stirling or further afield social say. Shoes I don't always buy new.

I don't see the point in women buying a new outfit/dress for each night? Even if you alternate 2 or 3 or mix em up or accessorize differently. I have about 6 pairs of Jeans and 30 Tshirts and maybe a dozen shirts (and 2 kilts :p)but I have my faves and feel more relaxed in them. I still think theyre smart and have bought more new clothes this year than ever due to being the new improved "slim jim" lol.

As for shoes??? If theyre nice and clean and match the outfit who cares if you seen them before. Maybe it's a girl thing......

It must be a girl thing as I don't spend any more for a fab social compared to a vanilla one - but then I don't stay in a hotel overnight as I usually have to get back to a babysitter

Only been to the failed drinks night I organised and basicly dont have the dough to be getting a new rig out. If I was it would probably just be a new shirt. But since Ive got loads anyway itll be a while till everyones seen them all cause I cant afford to go to the socials lol

Haven't been to a social yet but I'm pretty sure that what would happen would be new frock, new shoes and on the night I wouldn't be happy with them and settle for an old favourite!! LBD most probably...
