Sounds like it's treatable from what you said which is a great start.

I would stay here just make it clear you're not meeting and enjoy the banter on the days you can be bothered with it or need a distraction

Wishing you all the best with your treatment xx

Best of luck to you both. Stay strong and support each other.

Other half had thyroid cancer 14yrs ago. Had an op, now completly clear.

I won't lie, there will be problems, troubles along the way. But sometimes, the ability to unload your troubles to others outside the problem is a god send.

All the best for the future.

Prayers and love to MrA...

I have personally experienced both the initial stages and terminal stages of this illness with friends family and strangers. This was due to my intimate ability as an ear to listen, and voice to council.

Sometime talking to a stranger who has lived through this life changing event, albeit not actually experiencing the disease itself, is useful.

Although MrA does not know me please understand there is an experienced ear to always listen to the concerns this life changing event will bring.

Much love.

Good luck with it, I think trying to continue as normal may well be the best thing. Never a smoker but I had a lung cancer scare a few years ago. It transpired to just be scarring on the lung from when I punctured it years before. It was scary but just confirms, never take life for granted...

Absolutely brilliant news and I am so pleased for you both on what must have been a traumatic time.

You are both an inspiration to people to show us all that when the horrible C word is said to you that it is not the end of the world if you have the will to fight and live.

Enjoy life to the full folks

amazing knowing survivors

Actually going for scans soon myself as they are unsure fully what's wrong with me but suspect something serious is up I've been putting the scans off for too long now in fear of the worst and it's prob the worst thing to do

Fear itself is the the most difficult hurdle you have to get over, the rest is downhill after that. PMA! Positive Mental Attitude, gets me through every time.

I'm sure if you face it head on you will feel better. xxx

This is the best thread I've read on here for such a long time.

First and foremost to Mr&Mrs A for their inner strength and belief in defeating this illness well done to you both

Secondly to the spirit of camaraderie that goes on within the Fab community with posts of well wishing and sharing of your own battles

Humbled by all
