Im slightly annoyed about something I find it very frustrating that the verification process is controlled by the user when I receive a mail and the user is to my fancy I like to know who I am meeting / sleeping with the option to managing verifications is this a pro or con or both? What's your view?

Its both I think.

Being user controlled means they have the power over what others see. They may have had a meet that didn't quite go according to plan in their eyes and the other people send them a lovely verification. They may not want to mislead others and so choose not to display it. That works for me. Some people get a bit tetchy if you've met someone they don't like as well, etc etc.

On the other hand, the con for the user is that if all it says is 'Verified', people may be suspicious as to why they aren't showing them.

Personally, I (S) think its ok as it is. Its not perfect but then what is. Its worked for us anyway but appreciate others may have a different view.

i did think that the old way was slighty a bit better were they either had to show the verification or not , now you see only the one's they want to display plus the number off people they have meet in the past without displaying there's

Can and does put me off someone....which is unfair....but it doesnt stop me
