Approaching a girl whos spoken for

So i approach a girl in my class last night fancy a movie thanks but no thanks have a boyfriend cool no harm done. Beyond leaving it for a few months and maybe going for it again-probably till may june ie the end of term so if i do come across as overly keen we wont see each other till september anyway any thoughts? Does the female of the species sometimes tell a porky saying shes spoken for just to get rid of the guy or perhaps has just had a shitty day and cant be arsed at that exact moment in time with a dude sniffing about her?

I don't think it would be wise to ask her again. Even if she doesn't have a boyfriend and is lying, she's still doing it as she doesn't want to go out with you. It's an easy excuse for us girls to use.

maybe she does have a boyfriend

maybe she doesnt, but doesnt want to offend or upset you

best advice, accept that shes not interested in you in a romantic or sexual way but you can still be a friend and hope the situation changes.however your plan above sounds a wee bit obsessive and stalkerish.

Why wouldn't you take what she says as the truth?? Sorry but on a site like this it doesn't leave a good impression.

Does that mean if you meet someone who you like and say "i fancy some fun with you " and she says no thanks, that you're actually thinking hmm I think she may be lying and indeed does want to have fun with me ??
