I love them but the mr doesn't haha.

I still have one and he just had to get used to it. Saving up the cash for my next one. Can't wait.

Don't think I'd be able to get designs off flash sheets or anything as this is on my skin forever I'd rather have something that means something to me.

J has four, the biggest of which is a full Japanese dragon covering the whole of the bottom of her right leg. It took eleven hours in one sitting to do, not sure how she did it but it looks amazing!

I have a few but over the years there's a couple iv come to dislike so thinking about laser treatment later this year, prices for it seem reasonable.

got my first tattoo at 15 so 10 years ago, which is one I plan on removing.

Not decided on anything else I want, had a lot of ideas but I always decide against them in the end, the few decent remaining spaces I have left I think I will likely keep to have a potrait done of any future offspring.

Was just watching a news report on the rising number of unlicensed amateur tattooists and kids getting tattooed.

Any thoughts ?

I could understand why with the popularity of getting inked , and taken in to consideration because they are getting more pricy they would get it done from a backstreet bandit .. I wouldn't far to risky .. And the age thing kids are getting older in the head , thinking getting a tattoo makes you look hard ..

Mine is of the Motorhead typeface and the foofighters logo. That music and the personalities behind it are really kindred spirits to myself. Thinking about getting the ac/dc logo and Fleetwood Mac Typeface from the Rumours album. All these on the same upper arm.

Other arm will be a Predator Mask with the Alien looking through it (Or similar)

And a wee Pirate boy on my chest (simbolises my son, who thinks I was a Pirate LOL)

the part of the story that astounded me was a tattooist who was telling the reporter about parents bringing their kids in and saying "its ok im giving my permission" but not understanding it was still illegal because of their kids ages.

My mate has two from when he was 15. He absolutely hates them and keeps them covered. Its a big decision but I have a couple of ideas for when I am more flush.

No offence but all baby portraits look like Chucky to me......

No it isn't. Far cheaper than so may think. An easy way to get rid of bad work.

With a tattoo, you pay for what you get.

Would you expect a pair of shoes from asda to be the same quality as a pair that are hand made?

Not from what iv been quoted, any area the size of 2 playing cards can be done for £40 per session, 2 sessions was recommended.

The pic on my profile was 15 hours and £1100 with maybe another 10 hours still to do. I'd never put cost as a primary factor with ink.
