The driving licence is one of the most important test you will ever sit.

Good luck , don't what I'd do if I couldn't drive and even get here I think I would be very isolated. Go for it, it's opens up so many possibilities.

Learn now!!!!!!! I never did and its a huge regret. I took lessons several times but extenuating family circumstances meant I had to give up. I then got a job 5minutes walk from my home and there was never really the need. Do you think it's ever too late folks?????

Im a bit of both as my job has changed and anyone who comes in it now needs to drive so i think i offer more if i can drive means i wont be first out the door if the pay cuts happen

Fife ehh? Don't do much travelling there so I'd be fairly safe!!

I taught my dad to drive and passed at 53yo. I do think however come 65 you should sit a yearly test of some sorts to show you still have awareness and not only safe to yourself but other road users.

Also magnified front windows and some contraption added to the accelerator to kick in when doing 20 mph on country roads oops maybe at 75
