FabSwingers.com forum: Time to clean up chat?

I used to enjoy dropping into the scotland chatroom for the banter. But recently, I have found myself avoiding it due to the language being used which is becoming more and more frequent. The use of the word fuck, in many different forms, seems to be taking over. The word is commonly written with abbreviations like ffs and lmfao etc, but when you read it, you still read it as the word fuck. I am no prude and the occasional use of this word or abbreviation can be tolerated but recently, it has been occurring in almost every line when chat is in full swing( no pun intended). And you find that the women tend to be the worst offenders! I, for one, think that the use of this type of language puts me off people. I don't want to meet someone who can't hold a conversation with me without using the word fuck in almost every sentence. Very very offputting, don't you think. I have also noticed that this tends to only happen within the Scotland chatroom. Not a very good impression to give the rest of the swingers on the site. So come on Scotland Chat! Lets clean it up a bit and make chatting a more enjoyable experience for all. You all know who you are!

im with 2 guys ,,i have use ffs prob alot lol..

but with no offence ment and i hope none is taken,im usually joking with someone as i say it and would like to think the rest of chat cld see that but on the grand scale of things i think there are much worse things to say?

yes i toouse the f word a lot but those who know me also know it crops up in my real life conversation. if i knowingluy do something that offends someone i do try my best to reduce the occurrence so point noted.

The last time I looked I was an adult, and I'm on an adult swingers site and I seem to recall that I (like everyone else) have a block button ! I make no apology for the language I use, its seldom used in anger, more an expression of shock or surprise and I strongly object to the suggestion that sexual language is offensive and used only in Scotland chatrooms - we're grownups and in a grown up world, if you dont like it you either avoid it or vote to change it !

i have been guilty of putting ffs or llf or pmsfl in chat but my god it is only letters and anyone who knows me knows that i DONT swear.I'm sure i can speak for most ppl in the scottish room that when these LETTERS are used it is usually in jest and no offence is intended to other ppl. As for mr h i cant speak for him as he has turrets pmfl lol xxxx

Well..as is my want..my opinion on the matter...

First of all I am an adult on an adult site and as an adult I shall speak in any way I see fit and in any manner I see fit and using any words I so desire. That being said it is never my wish to offend anyone.

I do not think that the word in question is offensive nor out of place on a site dedicated to the pursuit of sex in a non monogamous manner. Equally I would like to state that I find it offensive to be told what words I should or not say on an adult site. As long as the word or words in question are not being used to personally defame or abuse then I find all words acceptable. That does not mean I like them all, but does mean I recognise the rights and wants of others and therefore embrace diversity with fervour.

I enjoy happy and at times sexual banter of a fun nature. If that offends anyone then please feel free to make full use of the block facility. After all there is a time and a place for many things and if this is not the place for such words, then that is of deep concern.

I like to fuck and say the word fuck as often as often as I do desire. Often I say fuck when fucking and indeed I use the word fuck when chatting to those I want to fuck, have fucked and may well fuck again. I understand the word fuck is offensive to some however please be advised that the word fuck is so fucking versatile! You can use ‘fuck’ as an adjective, noun, adverb, verb etc etc. With such diversity allowed by the word fuck it would be fucking foolish not to use it and embrace it as often as is fucking possible, I mean ffs I am an adult on a sex looking to indulge in pleasures of the flesh....otherwise known as fucking.

Agree with this one too. I think the only time I have asked someone to watch their language is when the C word was used. Not a very pleasant word no matter how it is said and quite offensive to most ppl.

Ok my take ..... swinging is a get away from real normalilty of every day life...its a place we go away from the vanilla world...we are all adults... many of us like to let out hair down on this site, have a laugh a bit of banter (adult banter including adult words eg swearing)...i dont swear hardly ever in my "normal" life due to having kids etc... i like to let my hair down down and yes i swear sooo spank me lol ! i think many folks feel the same !
