If you like the banter but hate the rest of it stay. Block the ignorant ones and report the abusive ones. You leaving lets them know they got to you. You stay and ignore them then you will be the one getting to them. And since they are blocked then they cant annoy you anymore.

Your choice of course but hope you decide to stay.

You could always set your filters to block everyone except friends or people you've already mailed and continue to post on the forums
