When I saw the title I was expecting it to be about a 50 y/o with 30 or 35 on their profile. Someone who says they are 3 years younger isnt really that bad.

Just a word of advice mods may not take kindly to you saying that its aimed at a forum reg. They may look on it as naming and shaming if enough people can figure out who youre talking about

why anyone feels the need to lie about their age is beyond me, i met a guy whos profile said 26 but confessed to being just turned 18! I reported the profile but hes still there.

I presumed they have told ypu there real age so have confessed. I don't see the need to lie but as other posters have said a few years are not really significant.

I would be more concerned about people that need to use a forum to discuss individuals than someone who had actually told me the truth about there age

~Im guessing, as there are so many other topics about how age 'is only a number' it doesn't really matter. If you fancy someone and like who they are then age isn't a problem. I am obviously assuming that this is after having seen the person and deciding they are for you, not the ones who lie about age by a whole generation and send photos which are years younger lol but 2-3 years either way isn't going to be an issue. It's probably more psychological on the part of the person going a couple of years younger than to try to dupe anyone.

As ive said many times if people want to lie about their age then thats upto them,but at least be able to pass for the age your claiming to be ....many dont .

I'm with you foe. I'm proud to be turning 40 this year and couldn't care less if people lie about their age, it's up to them. But if I like them, then what does age matter!

some people will do what ever they think will enhance their chances of a meet . This can be anything from age, cock size ,relationship status ,being bi,being able to accomm ect ect .If they feel need to lie in order to get meets then seems a sad reflection on their own self worth . Truth will out as the say ,so only makes things worse when even a small lie comes to light. I guess at that point they think person may know them enough to not be swayed by the facts .

I really don't see why you are stating this is aimed at a forum user as in my own opinion makes you seem petty and vindictive. If their fudging of their age is an issue you to you then id be an adult and say directly to the person in question .Although why it would be of any concern to you is beyond me .Id only concern myself with my own profile and about people I wish to meet
