couples for birthday party

My birthday is on the 15th and tried to organise a wee do at home for some friends, but not much joy, why is it so hard to commit? Are there just too many offers out there ? Thought it would be easy to arrange, safe clean home, dashing gent, drinks, munchies and lots of fun .

Got enough females just needed a few couples to mix it up ?

Do any other single guys haave same prob organising parties ?
