delete profile

What do you think would cause you to hit the delete button and leave fab ? Or would you hide profile rather than leave . If you left do you think you'd return.

Do we ever fulfill all our fantasies that we think , "ok done everything I set out to do so that'll be that" or does the bar keep getting moved in order to create more fantasies

Personally think it would take a lot for to leave fab now. Its got too many different aspects to enjoy in my opinion.

I've done it a few times, I think it's natural to want to take a break from something like this, hiding your profile still tempts you to go on where as deleting it makes it that wee bit more "official" til you are ready to come back.

I do agree with that statement but the problem is some people are tow and fro about timewasters, abusive messages and even chat is no longer the same with some idiot ruining it for everyone there have been many times i've left but come back on

My fingers have hoverd the delete button many times why havent i ?

Im not really sure to be honest but i suspect its what youve said in striving for the ultimate fantasty or something thats completley out of reach in the real world .

And i know 100% id come back and for almost everyone who hides there profile there is no doubt its just a timeout ortherwise they would have left in the first place.

If I got really fed up I would probably just hide my profile, seen too many delete then regret it

Would only consider deleting if I met someone for a relationship and they didn't want to swing.... But that's not going to happen as I can't see me ever doing the relationship thing again

We deleted thinking it was easier a few months back abd it was a disaster!!! Waiting to be able to post on the forum abd losing verifications, all not good!!!

The 'taking a break' is a mystery to us.

To us once you join up and embark on the 'fab journey' and end up in 'fab land' for meets, then you are on the journey, it maybe a mystery tour or you may have a Sat nav plan, but either way it's a nice journey with lots of nice scenery.

Your destination? No one knows but enjoy the ride xx

I have hidden my profile before and stayed away for a couple of weeks when things got too manic in the real world but I doubt I'd ever actually delete as I enjoy talking to friends too much and I can't be assed with bloody Facebook!

I doubt I'd delete it anytime soon cause I do like to chat to a lot of people but if one day I find the man of my dreams...well you never know!

We have hidden previous profiles and Iain has deleted his a few times. I've only ever deleted my own profile once and was a knee jerk reaction. Hiding it is definitely not a bad idea but agree with lots of the above comments , things in the real world make fab non important when difficult situations arise or if people meet people they leave thinking and hoping they will be able to live the vanilla life together. For some it works but its not for everyone .

I originally joined the site 7 or 8 years ago, been that long The memory evades me

I have in that time deleted my account twice and been banned once.

First time was knee jerk to bad vibes in the chat room

Second time had been promoted at work and the stress was too much. Realised Fab was my de-stressed

Got banned for arguing with some English guy over politics.

I do get bored from time to time and will disappear for days on end but I always come back.

Thing is now that I'm about to start a new job I no longer have the time that I used to have for meets etc.

But once you've been here awhile it grows on you.

dont think would dealete .but maybe hide profile for a bit . though to take a break ..but havent fullfilled all our fanties .by far . as theres many of them to be fullfilled as yet . lol .

I hid my profile when a regular meet came along, I was getting what me and Fab are here for. However no matter the opinions I have on some of the goings on here, its addictive and can be entertaining and dont think id delete, completely.

We deleted our profile once. The enormity of life, death and cascading family health problems dictated where we were and how we spent our time. We found ourselves arranging /agreeing meets, only to cancel at the last minute - and that wasn't fair on anyone. Our friends on Fab were very supportive and have proven themselves to be true lifelong friends. Fortunately when the time was right to come back, we were able to resume our profile, almost like we'd never gone. Thanks Fab
