No, not a man in a dress/kilt! (No offence meant or implied)

What would you like to see on TV leading up to the bells?....

I hanker after the old days of a ceildh with traditional music and dance for about an hour before, not this 15 mins carry on! I don't mind mixing it up with new Scottish music, but give us time to get into it.....whip us up into a New Year frenzy! Make the folk not out partying feel as if they are part of a bigger party.

Am I right or wrong?

And a wee bit of Andy Stewart!! Pure shortbread tin stuff, but got you're toes tapping. Only an excuse was good first few times, but has become the Johnathan Watson show now with predictable characters which are no longer funny.

Bring back the George Square parties, let people bring their own booze again, and then no one would have to stay in and watch TV

Bring back the White Heather Club!

Imho, the best Hogmanay progs were the old Grampian ones. Yes they were the old traditional style, but most folk loved them.

We'll never see the likes of it again at Hogmanay but the best lead up to the bells was always Scotch n Wry. Some of the characters brought to life by Rikki Fulton were sheer legends

Just thought of the Rev I'm Jolly. Absolutely brilliant. You don't get comedy like that these days.

Will be watching some of his clips on YouTube later
