Argggh I've just dropped my iPhone and screen is smashed, any idea how much it is to get repaired ? Not sure if it's worth claiming on insurance after the excess

Another good reason not to buy a Napple!!

Of course other phone screens can crack when dropped but iPhones seem to do it at the slightest opportunity...

I've dropped my nandroid phone a couple of times into hard surfaces and was unhurt.. (the phone...)

I dropped my iPhone 4 and smashed the back in Edinburgh a few weeks ago. Went into the wee apple repair shop on the stairs going into Waverly station. They repaired it on the spot in 5 minutes for £25.00. They're authorised apple repairers so wouldn't affect warranty.
