bike run 18th april

i previously put a post up for the 4/4/10 then relised that this was easter sunday so if anyone interested about the 18th then cool, it will prob be east coast,glenshee bremar ballater then doon by montrose and arbroath something like that that way we can meet up in dundee then run to perth for any1 up that way

AH great minds think alike.

i was thinking of a similar route starting at Stirling then up to Perth to meet folk then on from there.

sounds a good run for the summer only thing is - there will still be snow at glenshee in April .

just posting as wanting to eep this one on front page lol, we will be happy with bikes 125cc above. no mad fleeing about just have a fun day out i will be having mrs lips on the back of the bike also cmon guys a wee bit of interest at the east coast

this is gr8 getting some interest now weather well there will be a another route if its no looking good for going over glenshee but hay, once i have done a cpl of repairs from the bike being blown over the other night, 1st time i have had a bike blown over in 20 yrs so it must have been bad

its a real pain when the bike blows over as you cant say that you were doing xxx mph and you got thrown off .

ok the run is on for next sun. those who are meeting in dundee i was thinking about 10.30 at riverside tescos leave dundee about 11 then upto perth meet at tescos next to st johnstons ground. if u r coming can u send us a message through fab just to confirm if there is any ladies wanting to go and dont have a ride there is a spare seat. so let get this one on the road and message me

Well, at the quickest it would take the Dundee group 35mins to get to Perth, roughly. So if we're to meet them at 11.35 we should be leaving Stirling around 10.30-10.45

Lips do you have a guestimate time for getting to Perth?

well will say 11.30 for perth at the latest so will defo be leaving dundee 11 sharp we dont have to go away to glenshee if we have a few wedgies lol coming through we can nip up to killin crainlarich something like that

well it appears that there are some coming from north and some coming from south.

As previously posted and mentioned I would suggest the southies gathering at stirling services at between 10-10.30 for an 10.45 off to perth to meet the others coming from north.

as lips seem to have the north group organised we are happy to try to correlate a group from the south?

if you are coming drop us a mail and we will keep a list of names, so we dont leave anyone behind.

if you want to go straight there then no problem either.

we will check our inbox before leaving for the stirling services so if you have said you will go and cant make it for any reason please drop us a last minute email.

the run to perth will be straight up the motorway, unless anyone advises us that they cannot use the motorway i.e. L plates etc?

I've emptied all the spray cans in the house to help the greenhouse gases. Hope it helps for Sunday. Has any else noticed they dont talk about the hole in the ozone layer any more. Is it still there?

due to our pitiful climate you can hear people every weekend looking for a bit of the sun poking thru the gap in the ozone by saying "i'm goan oot tae get ma hole!"

i'm sure thats what they mean?

thanks to everyone who turned up, even tho is was pissing it doon i think we all had a good day, managed to get home in time for the footie and we won woo hoo!nice meeting u all.

o declan if u read back in the forum u said something about coming off my bike a zero mph, but shoosh we will no tell any1 that u didnt even make out the car park lol
