whats your thoughts on the amount of help with my profile posts got me thinking of a new buisness venture.

hi and welcome too profile fix.com

finding it hard to meet anyone why not join our growing numbers got the perfect profile fixes to sort out that all alone feeling.

or you could try our sister site going just as well but dosnt sit comfortably with all lie for you.com

I think we all got help in some way' when we started on FAB. We all started in the same boat. So older members try and remember that. We are here to help each other. That what good people do

sorry got to disagree my profile is all mine its a reflection of me not a set of helpful hints from others with the aim of getting my own needs and desires fulfilled some like some hate some agree some disagree i care not a jot its me simples

No i remember the early days fondly...where we joined and wrote our own profiles and found our feet by trial and error instead of expecting instant success

Haven't forgotten being new on here many years ago, but was aware enough of what I wanted out of the site and savvy enough to know how to get it and what works for me.... having someone else write my profile would not have been a true reflection of me.

I have posted thanking people who helped me in a personal way, because they are friends, I have NEVER in nearly 6yrs on here asked for profile/meeting help. And I have spent many a day advising people on their approach to swinging, however I choose to do that privately.

As for slagging people off, it's called banter. I don't use the forums to slate people, so don't even go there with me....

Well I can see there a group that took to swinging. Like ducks to water. So they don't need any help. So I leave it there. Just remember your first social advent guys. Again no help ?

I've been on for about 2 years & I've barely changed my profile from day one. I didn't get help to write it. I did, at the beginning, ask for thoughts on it. I got one saying it was ok & another saying it was shite. That was it. But I went on my merry way anyway & have discovered the delights of fab on my own. Older members do not have to take new people by the hand. If they choose to that's fine, but when it comes down to it, we're all here for ourselves, whether that be sexually or socially. Yes we make friends & would help them out but no one owes a debt just cos they've been around for a while. You could spend all your time helping out new folk & never get what you want for yourself.

I would also say that, if you want others to give of their time for you, you need to be willing to do the same.

What the hang up on writing a profile. Show me thread were a person ask you's to write it for them

I see young people men and women looking for help. The way we treat them show what kind of a person you are. So help or don't help it up to you's

I don't mind helping, I've done it plenty. I've never had much in the way of thanks for it though. I've even offered guys to message me how they'd normally message a girl & I've critiqued their message to see if they can improve. But we are all grown ups & should, for the most part, be able to stand on our own two feet, write our own profile, get our own pics, message people we like & use the site as best we can on our own.

I'm not saying no one should get any help, I'm just saying it shouldn't be expected to be given & given without thanks. That's all.

devils advocate here guy or woman comes on with help not getting any meets thread. look at his/her profile splashed with genetalia shots nothing much in profile apart from "fancy a shag" wonders why getting no replys. being "kind" some will say spend time getting to know them put up that your intrested in this that or the other take of genetalia shots up till that point where folks give the good advice you see that person for what they are there will be those that are intrested in what that person is like but you start to make someone change profile to get more positive hits your actually harming the person that believes the changes you got this person to change as they believe the hype written

I lost the plot there slightly but I think I know what you mean. Changing your profile based on someone else's suggestions kinda stops it from displaying the 'real' you or the you that you'd portray if left to your own devices? I think this probably applies more to profile text than to the pics though. Hard to lie with pics unless they are pics of someone else.

lol the point with pics was the person chose to display those type and there are folks wont meet people who display those types of pic but yeah thats point i was making
