Car insurance Rant

I paid out for a years insurance upfront and informed them that my no claims bonus of 9 years was requested from previous broker and would send ASAP. Despite numerous calls finally received it and forwarded to new insurer.. Today I went on my emails to discover a few spam mail which contain emails from my new insurer telling me they hadn't received my document therefore cancelled my insurance..but would kindly offer me another policy!!??*****

Upshot is after my heated conversation they are now refunding part of my payment .. I'm totally disgusted and have fired off a HUGE letter of complaint .. Rant over.. And breathhhhh

Done it but no joy it's covered in their 30 day notice clause ..

Check your spam folder.

Happened to me a couple of years ago...

Took it to their complaints dept and then the ombudsman... Got an apology... financial compensation and a free years insurance..

Thx for responding to this guys advice appreciated and taken on board.. I usually check mail via phone but to day I went on laptop hence I noticed spam folder .. Will be checking it from now on
