Glasgow ish

Banana here, taking my daughter to see it in early December, its her birthday treat and she has no idea about it. Im not even gonna tell her on the day.

It'll be a Dad/Daughter day out in Edinburgh. Take her for dinner etc then just happen to wander to the Playhouse... Point out the posters etc ....then produce the tickets

Heard its excellent but not sure its my kinda thing...but hey, its not all about me...coff coff

We were there last week, it was incredible! Rafiki's ace but I far preferred the cartoon version of Zazu.

Hope you enjoy it!

Question for those that have been...

I'm planning on getting tickets for the front of the balcony, aisle seats, but it states it's 'restricted views'

Anyone know how restricted??

Thanks

I was literally 2 rows from the back on the top tier lol

Maybe depends on where you sit the pillars might be in the way? Apart from that I wouldn't say its restricted that much.

No pillars in the Playhouse. From the upper balcony some parts of the stage may be obscured due to height and viewing angle.

After seeing some pictures of the playhouse this is the reason. As the chairs have binoculars attached to them which you can "rent" for a pound to watch it.

It's still awesome to go even If you end up the back. They do a few bits amongst the audience which is very cool. Don't want to say in case I spoil it for people

Restricted view on the balcony. I'm sure I was seat c1 and c2. It's ok viewing but u can't see the front right of the stage of the floor seats right hand side when they do crowd interaction stuff.

But all in all decent show. The black lioness oft!!!!
