Say that your dog is! Sadly had to put mine to sleep this week. God I miss him. Never spoke to me but his look said it all. Was a great wee pal. Now know what the saying means!

Cats, independent as they are and not the loyal companions dogs can be, can have the same effect.

Not ashamed to say I cried like a baby when I had to put mine down after being run over ,,,

Really, really feel for you mate. Really do.

Had to have 4 dogs put to sleep over the years, ripped us apart. One of the reasons why we haven't got a dog now cos just couldn't put ourselves through that again.

Sorry to hear that. Certainly not strange to me. Had to put my dog down and was devastated. Still miss him. Just keep remembering all the good times with your dog.

My raja meaning (king) was a great German shepherd loyal trustworthy and part of the family he was put to sleep two weeks ago! Still waiting for him to pop up right from under my hand resting on sofa arm. My thoughts go out to you and your fam. X

Losing a pet can tear you apart. I have a 22 year old cat who when his time comes I know I shall sob rivers of tears for.
