"Watched that last story on here about the couple who lost both their kids within 2 days of each other. Both kids were in a hospice till the day they passed away, and the hospice was funded by charitable donations. Am i the only one who finds it shameful that such worthwhile causes recieve no funding or support from the government " No DLT you are not. I was discussing this earlier. 45m GBP to Eurozone every day/week... whatever, yet once year the great British public manage to scrimp together a feaction of that for our kids and those who love them, it is shameful. I did an easter bike run to CHAS the scottish childrens hospice recently, it was a very humbling and heartwarming at the same time. We donated a fiver and an egg. The look on the kids faces seeing all the gleaming bikes was great.... | |||
