I was in the supermarket a couple of days ago to pick up a few things, went to self service checkout, all went well until I scanned my Tesco Clubcard... Item Not Recognised... it said, tried it again, still no joy.

Called the assistant over, told her, she looked at the card and said,

Oh that's a clubcard, you're in Asda!! ..and walked away laughing!

How stupid did I feel??

ooopsie, a bit like me trying to pay for something with the wrong card for the pin number....the machine nearly gobbled up the bloomin card

I did something similar once, stood in a queue for 10-15 mins only to find out i was in the bank of scotland when i wanted rbs !! Doh

Think my worst one was going to Tesco (pulled on jeans) doing my shop went to pay for shopping as its all been scanned and totalled up only to discover I'd pulled on wrong jeans from late the night before and my bank card to pay for it all was in the other pair lying on the sofa in my bedroom !! Mortified was an understatement lol

Watched a really old guy the other day trying to get petrol at Tesco. He couldnt work the pump out. A voice over the speaker 'press pay at kiosk or pay at pump' Reply 'Why is everything so f...ing difficult nowadays' Brilliant!
