It's been a great year for concerts and I've been to about 30 so far, both in the UK & Europe. My favourite this year was Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds at Barrowlands a couple of weeks ago, totally blew me away. What's been your favourite gigs this year and who should I be looking out for next year? No boy bands/chart pish please.

Why no boy band etc, just because you don't like them doesn't mean they're not good. This year Michael Bublé has been the highlight but I still have 30 Seconds to Mars and Black Sabbath to see so that may change.

Only because I mentioned in the original post I'm looking for suggestions for next year for me and I know what I don't like.

Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds at the Usher Hall last Friday. Great sound, NC was in top form and he played Breathless at the end which blew me away. Night got even better when I picked up a real cutie in the bar afterwards, much fun followed!

I think I may be the only one here on FAB who has never been to watch a band in concert ever.

Glasgow West

I haven't been to a gig all year. I've had to miss out on Peter Gabriel and Steve Hackett, because I couldn't get accessible seating.

Are you just that into music or just never had the opportunity? You can't beat a live gig.

We're going to see Thirty Seconds to Mars at the Hydro in a few weeks. J went to see Bon Jovi a few months ago and said it wasn't their greatest ever gig.

Missed Download this year and as Aerosmith are playing next year, J has said we're NOT missing it! Lol!
