The Job you do?

Ladies,

Does it affect the way you look at a man by the type of job he does?? I recently have had a change in circumstances which have required that i accepted a job working as a Hygiene Enforcement Agent...otherwise known as a Cleaner lol

I used to earn 24k a year, now i'm luck to earn 12k, but do women look at a guy in a shitty job and think "Oh i don't want to go out with a cleaner/etc" ?????

Just be honest, be yourself and you'll do ok, if you click with someone then it won't matter what you do for a living.

i never ask a guy what he does for a living if he feels the need to share then so be it.some people look at you diffrently when u tell them what u do may it be fantasies or something else a jobs a job ur lucky u got one enjoy it and if peeps think less of you for what u do there not worth it .happy cleaning xxxx

I dont think it should affect how you are viewed to be honest . however i know that some women and couples do judge on that basis , how much you earn is your business what you do is your business also . I dont really talk about what i do or what i earn as its very complicated and a very messy . in fact i only recently let slip about some of the stuff iv been up to to a very close friend of mine who kind of understood my position on certain things , fortunately she not very judgemental about it all . As far as what i earn goes it varies wildly and pay is always from a number of different sources which is a pain but never in a million years through normal converse would i divulge anything like that , maybe thats just me .

I knew a guy who worked for the HSE and he inspected tatoo and body pearcing parlours.

Went on a course to London and saw a vid of the most pearced lady in the UK who owned a place in Glasgow.

Imagine his surprise when he got home to find he was rostered to go check out her place the next day.

He had seen ALL her pearcings on film.

look mate no matter what your job, and if it feels like a bit of a come down for you, it pays the bills and will do until you move on to something better. Im stuck doing a security job which is a kick in the teeth from the great career i used to have. But the job does not define the person, so chill

I have been there as have many on this site.

I once held a Close Protection Security Badge and guarded so called Z-list celebs and world dignitaries

I have worked the pubs anc clubs of Glasgow now for more years than a lot on here have been alive

And yes I did shop and building site security as well.

Some of the funniest moments of my life were during this period when I worked 90 + hours a week for the bare minimum salary

Still a cheeky wee fucker though

My job allows me to get about the Country including Scotland where I still need a translator and Passport , your job has absolutely nothing to do with how you are as a Person so just enjoy yourself, dont judge and you wont be judged

I don't take into consideration what a person does for a living. As a few have said, be thankful you have a job in such difficult times. But there are people who can't work, for various reasons, and it's certainly not for me - or anyone else - to judge.

At the end of the day it's the person you click with, not the job xxx

i have worked various jobs from full time care of the elderly, to working as part time cleaning supervisor after i had my daughter . these days any jobs a bonus !!

if im seeing a guy ive clicked with my only concern with his job is when hes free next hehee !!

The Mark of a Man is NOT in the job that he does or the position he holds, but the impact he leaves on the world and his surroundings through the quality of the relationships he builds. His impact is felt through the way he lives his life and the way in which he expresses himself.

Anyone who doesnt want to see the person, is probably not worth getting to know in the first place.

I'm a happy bunny, I just got a new job today...yaaay!

It's as a chefs assistant in a local golf club... can't wait, always wanted to put my skills to good use and get into a working kitchen.

Mate as peeps have said be glad uve got a job that pays. It should never matter what job you have that makes somebody make a assesment about you only being yourslf can do that. Ive Been a Soldier most of my life done Close Protection in Iraq and Afganistan done some high profile jobs in the Army etc and in a small highly trained unit in the TA just now but none of that crap matters its how you as a person come across to people which will attract. I dont really talk about my Army stuff etc coz i think it would prob bore people lol and you always get asked the most obvious question lol.........Leave that to your imagination lol Also now im a recovery driver

I knew a guy about 10 yrs ago now, who was in a similar position to you. Made redundant from £30K job, got a job working nightshift for computer manufacturer packing computers in boxes. Finished 12hr nightshift and then drove 15 miles to clean an office in Glasgow every morning. On other days/nights off, he cleaned other offices in group. At weekend he would clean the 8 branches, all in one day.

He went on to start his own cleaning business,...but he's still the same person he was back then, and can still be found with a mop in hand.

It's the person not the job that counts, and I'm sure you are a good strong person, and people will see that shine through.
