Errm sorry no idea whats this about.. never heard of cough and the only skipping i did was skipping school lol

I think Caugh refers to the holding of the skipping ropes for others to skip???

you would have one at each end of a long rope, and third person skipping......HOW THE FECK do I know this?????

Ah Tom, got it now 'skip' or 'caw' the rope..... we used to all have to do both else yer pals took the rope home... we usually got our big skipping ropes cut off the end of our mums washing line so that it reached right across the road from kerb to kerb it took skill to caw a rope that long lol! xx
