FabSwingers.com forum: how many times ?

I know quite a few people have got fed up with things on here and deleted their profile only to create a new profile a couple of weeks later. This is my third n by far least successfull profile on fab in the last 2 years. Was just wondering if i was about to set some sort of record if i click mouse next time it hovvers over "delete profile"

ive bn the same try and all over silly bitchy games but this time im staying they aint worth the hassle ive made fantastic friends and had a fantastic time and this has to be the best profile ive had im having the time of my life and cant wait to have many more new experinces with my fab friends stick it out and its only gonna be as gd and exciting as you make it xxxx

To be honest...and Im by no means try to offend here... it sends off a bad signal to us when people are deleting their profile then coming back a few weeks later.

Im sure it will put people off meeting you too.

If you lose ya mojo, then just hide your profile, then at least if you become more active, you dont lose any veri's etc.

I wouldn't say there's too much wrong with the site in general, but the forums have become a bit of a joke recently.

The latest farce is that someone who recently caused hassle in a thread, had her post deleted by a mod, the same mod in a PM to me then threatened that "you'll all be banned", obviously the "all" including the original troublemaker, that troublemaker has now been made a mod!!

So as I've long suspected, there obviously is one law for some and another for others!!

we`ve been here since fab started in 2006 with the same profile and have no intention of leaving,we`ve also had profiles on other sites for around 5 years

we are great believers in you get out this hobby what you put into into it so effort is required to enjoy the site to it`s full potential

we are also great believers in if your gonna leave then leave if it ain`t for you now we doubt it will be in a few months time under a different profile name

so we never convince anyone to stay, it`s the individuals choice at the end of the day whether the site is for them or not

Just to clarify.

ALL posts on a thread were removed that looked like people were attacking each other, some of which included yours.

You then PM'd me complaining that you were hard done by.......to which I did reply, that if everyone carries on with abusing each other then ALL parties would be banned.

It wasn't a threat, it was a fact of forum life. That is what happens.

The mod you are now referring to has since become a chatroom mod.

If you don't like that for any reason, then maybe you should do the adult thing and contact Admin direct, as they decide who they want as mods.

You could also ask them why abuse isn't tolerated on the forums by anyone, including people defending themselves.

The REPORT button is there for a reason.

It may be your 3rd profile in that time but are you not the same person you were on the other 2?

So going and coming back so many times might make people stop and think whether or not they want to meet you!

Our opinion for what it's worth is fab is one of the best swinging sites and our profile is here to stay if you read it and don't like move on if you hassle we will block and report you. As for the mods we have found them fair and rules are rules no matter what site you are on. So all in all fab is what you make it and grumbling and moaning won't help you meet lots of new ppl who more often than not become good friends.

Well just to add my 2 pence worth on this as i also have done the whole deleting and rejoining thing hence the returns on profile, I left through a combination of factors i.e to busy at work to be on here all time like i was, so removed the temptation, fed up with timewasters and rude people yes even as a single guy happens too lol shocker and several other things going on in the real world. In retrospect i prob should of just hid my profile however he he

as for why came back it was quite simple really i missed the people id met, some really friends, people who make me smile in chat and others who just blow me away sexually. To me now fab is what you make of it, as long as you treat people way you'd like to be treated and are honest with yourself and others as to what your looking for you'll have a great time and even if need a break you'll hide profile and stay in touch with people as it is the people especially in the scottish scene who make FAB what it is and i for one wont be leaving again love you all he he xxx

i kinda agree with steve, get fed up o having folk on ma friends list for them to delete one week then join bk up over and over again... puts folk off meeting as all u think is... whens this profile going to disappear

Both can understand why folks go and ping back, i think it relates to this "develope a thick skin" others often tell us to get here to survive the roller coaster ride that is swinging. People will come along and be nice and great fun,some will leave you scratching your head,some will be harder than chinese algebra to figure out, but we aint here to figure folks out we are here for fun.

If folks are not making it fun from the start, by that i mean they cant even be pleasant in a message, move on, dont waste your time trying to "figure out".

Stick around,dont go deleting even if you have weeks of nothing but utterly negative responses and attitudes,and from one upbeat nice reply/attitude there just might be another around the corner, thats why we all stay.

I understand those who leave due to personal reasons then return, too much work, having a baby, family or vanilla friends finding your profile here (or being pointed to it) It happens, had it happen to me and my immediate reaction was fekk.... delete!

What really grips my pips is those who create a profile in the morning, mail you for a meet and between the time you have taken to read your mail and go to answer they are gone. Only to reappear and go through the whole thing again the next day

Now are these people really really shy, unsure about swinging or getting a little thrill while passing a boring day at work?

Are they married and looking over their shoulder in case their spouse catches them so they delete their profile each evening?

How many husbands work away on the rigs or in the forces abroad and pass the lonely hours in FAB little knowing their wives at home are doing the same?

They are the ones who could do us all a favour and delete... permanently (or at the very least stop mailing me just as they decide to hit the delete profile button yet again) lol lol xxxxx

u can go into ur message filter an BLOCK

ALL NEW USER'S thats wat ive done the

next step is 2 BLOCK EVERYONE whos not

Why delete profile? if one gets fed up surely just hide it... that way you still have the verifications,personal and photo tick, and then when you're ready for another go just write an updated profile txt... and of course you can change your username too.

Thankfully we have seemed to miss out on all the nasty comments and emails (pls keep it that way thanks).

We seem to not be getting very far despite having been on 8 months but theres loads of reasons for that including us being shy and a little picky, but there's not a lot wrong with the forums, chat or the way stuff is being run.

We quite like it here and have no intentions of hitting the "delete profile" button any time soon.
