"Put fab to the side brush yourself down everyone has curved balls lobbed at then but you always bounce back stronger. Sometimes the less said the better as you only confuse fuck out yourself. Solitude and direction is what you need reading between the lines. Good luck "

"This is going to sound brutal, it isn't meant to but man up..... It isn't where we stand at times of comfort that defines us as human beings....it is where we stand when things are piling up that shows us what we can be.... We can all say this was how we dealt with theses situations in my life, that won't help you..... Hence the man up..." Maybe the term "man up" isn't quite what he needs to hear right now. That's like telling a manic depressive to pull their socks up. Yes we all go through shit and yes we all deal with it one way or another, but sometimes, being able to talk to others is the one aid we need. Positive words such as those from PP are much more helpful that "man up" - at least that's my experience.

We manic depressives call ourselves bipolar these days It's less emotionally loaded and manic depressive is generally overly stigmatised in society. But I like the sentiment behind what you wrote, find a reason to smile and be positive, even laughing once a day can make all the difference. You'll get through it, and you'll have days you are raring to go pal. Keep the chin up and don't let the bastards grind you down.

And we are all very different people. When everyone thought I was "going through a phase" or "just attention seeking" man up would've been a soft answer I was given..... I am truly sorry the OP is depressed but in reality no one is going to fix the issues for him, he needs to do it for himself.... Depression is a real illness, there is no stigma in it in my eyes, I battle demons on a daily basis..... How we deal with it is what defines us, I was genuinely trying to make the OP see that we fix these things by being strong inside....on that note I am taking the only good advice my father gave me which was " when you find yourself in a hole....stop digging" Peace out

I think it is safe to say that we all hope the OP finds what is needed to get through this difficult time.
