No its best to get it out the way early , attraction is a big thing ., nothing worse than messaging getting a connectiin and then the face pic and you think , I just couldnt

It's the way they said it that really bugged me. Now I have been told I have a bad attitude so wouldn't meet me anyway.

No..you're quite right in the way you feel hunni....I hate it when the day starts off with a rude msg that gets my hackles up. Sometimes its as much the way things are said as the content.

Thanks. It was the way it was said that annoyed me and then to go on and say I have a bad attitude because I said I didn't want to meet but here is a picture for your perusal.

I have no problem showing people my mush. It doesn't bother me I think half the site have seen it at some point. X

why is it rude to ask to see someones face pic in a first message?

Becsuse msybe it would be nice to say hello and perhaps offer a face pic swap rather than saying... lets see yer face to see if I fancy you.

We would never dream of doing that.

To us thats like if someone sent us a pic and said.. wanna meet, and rather than a polite no, for us to reply ...are you kidding, we dont fancy you.

Just our opinion on manners when initially contacting soneone. If we like profile then we say hi, ask to exchange if both parties are happy to. If it turns out we dont like the look of them then we say.. sorry, not our type .

No harm done.

Would you respond with a pic if thats the type of message you receive? ?? We would reply but with no pic.

IT is a joke. Not all my pics are public, and there have been times where none of them have been public.

I must admit that I do find it somewhat irritating when I frequently receive messages from fems/couples looking to meet and they request or demand a face pic or a full naked body shot including my face (in some cases) yet they themselves are somewhat reluctant to send any pics despite the fact that it specifically states on my profile that should anyone wish to request my face pic I'd appreciate if they send one with their message and ill happily reciprocate the gesture (not that anyone reads or acknowledges profile content)

Nope I dont think it is rude at all ... we are on here to meet people we are attracted to not to chat then find they are not what we are looking for.

It looks like the bloke is looking for uncomplicated sex with someone he fancies, not alot wrong with that or so you would think on a site like this.

It wasn't a single guy it was a couple. Every single guy has been very polite and respectful to me. Shame I can't say the same about some of the messages I have had from couples.

I don't have a problem sharing pictures. I'm not going to meet someone I'm not attracted to. It was the way they said it that I found rude

I like you have always found single men much more polite and courteous than couples but that fact aside unfortunately there are way too many people on here that want to "chat", "make friends for life" etc etc and some just want to meet and have sex.

A lot of texting and messaging gets lost in translation and what may have appeared to them to be a simple request has come across (in your opinion) as rude.
