"Feckin nightmare.

is very difficult, lots of stop smoking websites do a good list of health benefits for when you stop, cant accurately remember the list, but i think after 10mins your blood pressure starts improving etc, lots of other good things start to happen within days too.

Got an app that tells me the health stuff, and how much I'm saving, so that's pretty good too.

Still hard though.

Never smoked in my life but I know loads oh have given up. Will power and keeping your hands busy are the key apparently.

Good luck!

I'm not giving up & if you think that wee hint about "keeping hands busy" is a sneaky way of getting me to jerk you off then think again.

Anyway, good luck to the OP. Good on ya.

We both stopt 6 year ago went from 40 a day each to 0 had patches for a bit then stopt them to. Personaly think you have to be in the right frame of mind to do it , but if I (mrs) can do it anyone can. And we still get that odd craving for 1 but dnt do it as wdnt like to start again 1 to much money and 2 the smell on your clothes BOAK and 3 your hardley alowed to smoke anywhere now anyway

I feel your pain.

If you can get through a night without smoking when you've had a few drinks - then you can get through every day after that.

I wish the OP every success although I accept it can't be easy.

It is, however, probably the single best thing to start improving your health from the moment you give up.

I stopped just under 2yrs ago with the help off (Champix ) from the doctor , it has known side effects but it doesn't effect everyone so i would say speak to doctor about them & all the best

I last smoked a cigarette on 24th Jan 1994, the date is imprinted on my brain. Went for lazer therapy and cost £65 at that time. You have got to want to stop but I was determined and have never looked back. Definately worth a try and at around £7 a packet, although it will obviously cost more nowadays

20 per person each day in a couple = £5200

So you can pay to kill yourself each year or go to the Caribbean.....twice
