If you check in first then text the couple the room number then there shouldn't be an issue

I think a lot of folk bring suspicion on themselves just by being paranoid to the extreme.

Unless you walk through front door with a sign saying fuck me i'm a swinger i doubt there's much to worry about or heaven forbid fuck in a hotel room like anyone else does
