Think of coming over the border for NYE this year. Seen the Street Party Event & Garden Concert. Anyone else have any recommendations. We've never been to Edinburgh before.

Depends how long you got, guys. So much for visitors to do here. But you certainly have to do the tourist stuff - Castle, Royal Mile. I'd also recommend a walk up Arthur's Seat. Not too difficult and great views of whole city and across to fife on a good day. Happy to help more if you're here for a fairly long time. Enjoy

Take a walk up Carlton Hill, great views over to Leith and towards the city in the other direction, and good to walk around that folly thing on the hill.

Go to Greyfriars Kirk to see Bobby
