Fair point but hardly a realistic comparison really; can't see the Scots driving imigrants/ migrants out, rigging votes and ending up in mass corruption and genocide - although they were clearly also fed up with Londons' involvement prior.

I merely asked the question as both sides will be guilty of influencing their poll providers to show theirs in favour. This, as I say, is as real as it gets - and in my view, pretty worrying.

You've clearly a passion for what is right. Good news for you then! Salmond won't be in charge. He'll be done once independence is realised. Voting for independence IS NOT a vote for Salmond OR the SNP - it's a vote for real change, to govern our own affairs. To not, get fucked. Don't believe the very biased media we have up here. Vote No and you'll have Cameron again - or worse Miliband, who just seems to be pulling headline grabbing gimmicks out the bag the past few days.

1. No, we would plan to use Sterling, as Falklands and Isle of Man do. It's in the rUks interest to keep that exchange low, if any.

2. Yes once your current one expires.

3. Yes, there was already plans afoot to extend income tax raising powers to the currently devolved parliament, so that would need to happen regardless. Obviously there would be no HM

4. Tell me a government that can accurately forecast how much anything will cost in 5-10 years time? What we won't have to pay for is Hs2, wars, nuclear weapons etc. The cost of hs2 alone would cover most of that.

Correct it won't but as part of the UK we will be paying our share - and good point that it doesn't go to Scotland. So again paying for things that don't benefit the people. Bit like the Olympics, which killed the tourist industry here last year.

No idea if its SNP policy, could be a labour policy, or a Tory policy or even Tommy Sheridan - whoever is elected post Yes win. What I do know, and clearly one as well informed as yourself should also be aware, is that the plan for income tax raising powers for the SP have been put forward, by Labour I believe. For that they will require their own system.

Don't assume someone is SNP because they vote Yes.

Go on then? Where does it go? Biggest games producer in Scotland (rockstar north remember, not Rockstar, although in the same group) and I'm pretty confident it hoofs a fair amount of tax in the coffers. However, getting any of them to speak is a different matter.

Your other question? Think its a question? £37bn was the figure as of this year for combined efforts. Obviously these aren't done, so that will increase. Still not really sure what you're asking though.

Typo in the first post, soz, £37bn is an estimated UK govt figure. Nothing to do with Mssr Salmond - remember the Scottish Parliament voted against each one. That's £2k for every house in the UK. Still independence will never work with all that extra money kicking about eh?
