Swindle agrees its a mess and has the money to fix it but won't do so. One has to ask why not. | |||

Best we can do is mitigate with the new funding that's been made available (today), some already been helping people to date. Also banks heavily in the UK Gvt agreeing to raise the cap on what the Scottish Gvt can use to 'shore up' folks payments. | |||

" Dont even think the £15m from today can be used. limit is £35m and there is already £15m from westminster & £20m from holyrood. would need westminster to authorise DWP to increase the limit. | |||

"Money has been used already I believe. N Ireland had a similar issue and DWP raised their limit. So no reason not to now in our case...though NI aren't going for Independence." just need to wait and see what happens. ![]() | |||
