Can't believe its been 12 years today . I remember it as clear as day and it only feels like a short time ago. Lets spare a thought for those that lost their lives and to all the families affected ..

I dont think any of us who watched it unfold before our eyes on tv will ever forget those images. I can still remember the sick feeling in the pit of my stomach as the second plane flew into the tower. Those poor, poor souls and the emergency services whose bravery went above and beyond the call of duty that day, should never be forgotten. Evil will never triumph....love remains. X

I remember it well, despite being 13 at the time. Just starting a new school year and living in a very Muslim country it was a tricky situation to deal, even harder when people started saying such awful things about Islam when a lot of my friends celebrated it, the world was condemning it and all those who believed. To this day I believe in never tarring everyone with the same brush. My heart will always go out to those that lost and those that are still dealing with the repercussions today xxx

strange but i was with my ex partner at the time and she woke up at 2 am having seen a plane crashing into a skyscraper told her to forget it and then next day the western world felt global terrorism in all its brutal force may justice be found for the lost and may all the lost souls be granted peace

Remember it like yrsterday too. And the grounding of all other airliners as a precaution because we just never knew if World trade centre was just part of something more.

I remember exactly where I was. Everyone there was absolutely gob smacked, all work stopped and we all rushed to find a tv to find out what was going on.

On a slightly lighter note, it also happens to be a good day for me too as its my daughters 5th birthday

Yes I remember it. I was at home off sick from work watching it all day on sky news.

It's such a scary scary world that we live in.

Thoughts to go out to all those people who lost there life's and there families affected. Rip.

I don't think many will forget where they where or what they were doing that day.

On tv as it unfolded it looked very much like a Hollywood movie if only that was the case.

I visited ground zero while on a trip to New York a few years later,it was still underconstruction then but as you walked around not only did you get a great sence of loss but you also get a sence if what it actually must have been like that day just being there ..for anyone who's ever been to New York will know what it's like to hear sirens going of there 24/7 so what that must have been like that day goodness knows.

Certainly a day for reflection of how not only New York changed that day but indeed the whole world

and boy has the arabic world payed back for those individuals who were killed in the twin towers.!!!

yes those people were innocent but after being in the close protection industry since 1997 and being in iraq as such from 2004 onwards so were all the children,women and old men i walked past charred and dismembered by American weapons and soldiers in the name of the fight against "global terrorism".

We have to remember humans are pack animals, take football, rugby, class and religion..we migrate to be with others who have the same interests as us and do what we can to protect our pack.

This will never end im afraid, we are what we are as just another animal on this planet.

sorry big, no disrespect but if that is a conspiracy theory movie i wont watch it.What happened happened and for the reasons they happened. It is more the ramifications to all on the planet after the event that i think is more pertinent.

The day the world chaged??? The day america changed and started a so called war on terrorism. At least they dont subsidise terrorism now like they used to, or do they?

Britain suffered terrorism for decades and a lot of the terror groups survived on donations from america. And yes, I can remember where I was and yes I do think it was horrific. My point being America only recognised terrorism when it hit them. Just my opinion of course.

I mind where i was,was in an army simulator training to go out to kuwait and had no idea what had happened till i finished,when i was told i thought someone was having a laugh until i saw those terrible pictures on tv.
