Discomfort for about 48 hours. Otherwise no difference.

No problems here either. Even drove home afterwards

Worst bit was wearing tighty whiteys for a couple of days and the itchiness when the hair grows back but apart from that, easy peasy lol

Just remember, it hasn't worked unless you have sent in 2 samples and had the letter saying its all clear!!!! I know of a guy that assumed it had been successful and now has another beautiful daughter

Total nightmare, do not do it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was in pain for 7 years, yes, you read correctly 7 years and then I had to have a corrective operation that lasted 5 hours!

Thank the lord that, that was a success! Be prepared for the worst!

What they don't tell you is for every successful op, there are many more failures.

I had to get it done twice as they hadn't taken enough away the first time

never forget the second time as they put me under to do the operation when I awoke there was nurses going around crying and all running to the tv room

the date 9/11 yea I will never forget where I was when that happened

you were just unlucky I was the same last year after my surgery last year too bit you've got to weigh up the risks and let's face it any surgery has risks but the good outcomes oughtweigh the hurry stories I'd say go for it but read up on the risk factors too

Local anaesthetic (just a little prick, said the doc, hilarious...).

No side effects or horror stories to tell. My cum is now semi-skimmed instead of full cream, in texture. And according to those that have had the pleasure it tastes better, apparently.

Just make sure there are no little people to run into you for a few days though - my mate cried into the sofa for nearly an hour when his 4 year old came bounding up to say hello at 200 mph lol

I had it down at a proper family planning clinic in Glasgow as I knew a few guys that had all the pain and stuff by having it done in the Inverclyde Royal.

I had a good experience having it done but would not have it done in an normal hospital,,,, leave it to the real experts !!!!!!

I had mine done in 1985.

Was in and out in 20 mins and had no problem.

Vasectomy was done on Friday Morning and I was inside a Boxing ring a couple of nights later at a black tie evening suit show.

No problems, even won the fight.......

28 years on and still no problems

Good to hear. Just remember, no guarantees it's worked until you officially have the all clear so keep up the birth control til then

Had it done under local but still felt everything. balls very tight as f**k and eyes were streaming. surgeon got grumpy as nuts were so tight and actually said to me 'men think they can come in here and its easy!'. Still managed sex that night though. My third sample showed there was still sperm so had to go thru the whole process again. Go for a general anesthetic!

Best move ever made. Not sore at all. Bit uncomfortable for sure but nothing serious. From experience though, don't do a 10hr flight to Florida 3 days later...
