Can't tell you, but just put your thinking caps on, you don't have to go too far from home

We had a rather naughty time not that far away from home on a very quiet single track road under a beautiful full moon not too long ago, and also in a field near us in the summer. Was a rather hot day!

I would tell you but you've blocked mail from guys and no-one's going to be daft enough to name a site on an open forum as that's just an open invite to the Police.

You walk up a farm track, track dips down as you enter tree lined area, then you hear the waterfall, you see the pond formed by waterfall, grassy plataue*, rocks to hide/lean on, rocks as high as 8ft high etc,,, you get the idea, its shang-gri-la, lovely,,

I think (hope) it was innocent ignorance of the rule about not naming sites rather than idiocy.

So is Brigadoon. It doesn't stop Alex Salmond trying to make us all live there.

Caprona

Problem with forests is, well do you really want Yogi Bear perving your picnic basket. The national park staff, tend to turn a blind eye when it suits them.

Gareful what you google otherwise FFF may intrigue you

The bears you find in Scottish woods will do more than fiddle with your picnic basket

All it takes is a bit of imagination.

Scotland is a land full of wonderous beautiful SECLUDED countryside.

Got a few secret hideaways myself and yes local Ranger Services do tend to keep their distance.

I like the description of Shang ri la got quite a few of those sites right on my doorsteps

OP, it simply takes a wee bit of imagination! In Scotland, we're spoilt for choice when it comes to outdoor fun.

Go for a run in any area of the country and the places are there.
