Do men date women from Fab?

Recently I began talking up a guy on here who had just joined and had asked if people date on here and I had responded to his status. We began chatting and got on really well and spoke off here.We actually agreed to meet just for a casual date to see how it went. Then it all came out that while everything about me was great, the fact that I was on here was a big red flag and he was struggling to get over it. Without knowing anything about my sexual life or what I am on here for, he has made that judgement. He admitted it was his issue but he felt it would get worse with time so we decided to stop talking. He has left fab since. My question is, is this the general opinion of the single male population as I see a lot of you on other sites stating you’re looking for “monogamy” or a long term relationship and you’re on here looking for whatever you are looking for. I’m not judging. So single men, are ladies on fab who might actually now be thinking they would like a relationship albeit a naughty one with someone like minded, the bottom of the barrel? Is that the opinion as it makes me really sad that if he or others met me on a “dating” app it would be all good, but because it’s here we are somehow undateable? I’m actually begining to lose hope that I will ever find the type of relationship/life I am looking for.

This made me sad reading..

I think a lot of men dont like hearing about ex partners (sexually)..and maybe this place with verifications and the inference of promiscuity maybe makes that worse for some.

I think though, its appropriate he recognised the issue was with him.. so as nice as he was.. if you'd continued..it would probably have failed through his own insecurities.

So dont be put off..your person is there.. just wasnt him.

I think the scene had changed dramatically over the last few years.

From interactions i have had with guys messaging, most guys are looking for a regular playmate without the swinging side. Nothing wrong with that if thats your preference, they snub their nose at going to clubs having the wrong idea about them also, yet guys will use fab like a dating site, as long as it suits them. Plus i have found guys to be the bigger timewasters when going for meets, and their pre conceived conception of a female being on here varies too.

I am glad he realises it was his issue and exactly that.

There are plenty of couples on here that thrive I think at the start of a new relationship it might be difficult to establish a foundation with each other while giving attention to other and everyone is different you will meet what works for you....but I don't have that man's views.

Mr here, if I was single this is where I would come to find a relationship, why would you want to find someone on a vanilla app / site if you are not vanilla.

My question of him is simple, why join a site like Fab (it's not a dating site) if you have insecurities of those in the lifestyle.

We met on here and both know we have history and we speak about this in a positive manner and it's our past that shapes our future.

In fairness, he's declared this early before hearts get broken and it appears that poentially you've dodged a bullet.

Most people don't understand the lifestyle, have negative judgements of those in it and risk causing heartache through misplaced intentions.

We hope this hasn't dampened your enthusiasm for the lifestyle and finding the man, woman, couple etc of your dreams.

😘

I didn't join here looking for a relationship, just looking to explore and have fun.

9 years ago I had a social with a newly joined guy, that led to a few play meets. We saw a lot of each other over a few weeks and realised it was more than FWB. We celebrate our 9th anniversary in 2 weeks. It just happened naturally and we are still in the lifestyle.

I think perhaps some people think this place is just for fun, it can be anything you want it to be. I don't consider this a dating app but I suppose there's not that much difference.

If people meet here then choose to be monogamous there's nothing wrong with that, but looking down on someone for being on a site that you are also on is nonsensical.

Doesn't matter cant block distances

I wouldn't take what a guy on here says to what they actually do in real life to heart. There's real and there is fab vastly different worlds for guys and sadly women get the worst end of that stigma as you've experienced and other women who don't do the door knob missions have experienced as well

Thanks for the responses everyone.

I guess I was just looking for reassurance that I’m not deemed to be like the worst of the worst to someone more vanilla and this is why I tend to not meet off the dating apps. Had very vanilla for a very long time and don’t want to go down that route again. Was on the verge of deleting this the other night when my feelings were hurt, but I will just forget about his comments and move on. X

I cant see why it wouldnt work into a relationship if both parties wanted it as long as you both talk about what yous wanted and either come off all these type of sites or stay on them if both agreed. Its all down to what both parties want. Im just on here for some good kinky or normal sex but if it ended up where both developed feelings then i could be open to more

Over the years I've come to the conclusion I'm fuckable but not really dateable. I tried.

At least here I get to be that on my own terms!

I do still want dates and to spend time with someone though. Its important to me. Being here allows me that opportunity.

If someone judges me for my choices then they aren't my person. Gone are the days I'd worry about the opinions of a random person on the internet.

I would definitely be open to dating someone from fab if we clicked and got on well. although it’s not the reason i’m on here i wouldn’t have any objections if the opportunity came about more likely to find someone with the same interests on here and as far as sexual chemistry what better place to find someone that has the same kinks and interests as you do.

ok a bit of a red flag about him from me , sounds like a controlling or jealous personally, could easily spin into stalker if he thinks you are chatting to other men. If you are on fab you are looking for friends with benefits but not a traditional monogamous girlfriend.

Interesting topic, I think going back when I first starting going to clubs (the old after 8) Fab was just becoming a thing (I'm also old enough to remember the contacts magazines ), it was about people getting to know people within a lifestyle, whether that led to something casual, friendship or something more permanent, that was what it was. I think now, it seems that people are looking for ONS or the magic stunt cock, which of course has it's place with the evolution of any scene, but I think that, more than anything blurs the line on what people look for and expect.

The male part of our profile here. I divorced a few years ago and genuinely had no idea Fab existed. I done the whole Facebook/Tinder dating etc. I had an open mind ie I was happy with casual but also open to something longer lasting and meaningful. I was always very honest in my intentions with potential partners.

Fast forward to April 2025 and I discovered Fab as a single guy. Chatted to and met a number of women until one really grabbed my attention. She appeared to have all the traits that I valued most. Honesty. Loyalty. Integrity. We chatted on and off for months, as friends - even when I was seeing other women in a dating context. She even gave me sound advice on said dating in relation to me being upfront about my very recent history on Fab and whether I was prepared to give that up immediately. As it happened, I did (give Fab up) in order to give what ended as a short relationship a chance.

Fully 5 months after we started chatting on Fab, progressed to Messenger then WhatsApp- Pinky and I met. We both had an open mind about what this would be. We chatted for fully 6 hours and it was if no time had passed at all. We had nothing more than a kiss (which btw showed how much respect I already had for this woman that sex wasn't even on my agenda for that first meet. No dick pics in 5 months either, just for the record). I think when you recognise something special, you treat it with much more care.

So yes - although it was never the exact intention - Pinky and I dated (we more than dated but we also dated in the traditional sense). Our families, including my dependant children are now intertwined and we cannot see a life without one another.

Us men are a different breed. Our male egos cloud a lot of things that really aren't that important in the grand scheme of things. In many ways, I am no exception! However I had the option to open my horizons and grow - or stay in the safety of my preconditioned state. I continue to choose to grow and live our lives to their full potential. That said, Fab is not our life. Our life is full of love and amazing times.

The bottom of the barrel? Fuck no! This woman who now stands by my side in life is the absolute cream of the crop. Everyone in my circle loves her (and we are both very open about how we met).

Best decision I ever made.

There’s someone for everyone and your profile is quite clear, so keep the faith.

TBF I think the guy was on the wrong site, or maybe a jealous type?

Not aimed at anyone but I see a lot of opinions on the forum; men are this or women are that, I don’t agree with generalisations.

My red flags are highly prolific personalities, as I’m more comfortable with cautious, less forward but warm hearted people.

We’re all different and we’ll attract what suits.

The bottom of the barrel? Fuck no! This woman who now stands by my side in life is the absolute cream of the crop. Everyone in my circle loves her (and we are both very open about how we met).

Best decision I ever made."

Aww this is so lovely 😍

I would absolutely love for a relationship to happen from meeting someone on here. Bottom of the barrell? No way, if anything it means we're more aligned.

Doesn't matter cant block distances

"The male part of our profile here.

It says more about him than you , such insecurity is a red flag for you to wave at him

I think it smacks of double standards.

I would date someone on here. In fact as I get more “mature” I value emotional/ mental attractiveness as much as physical.

It leads to nothing but heartbreak. Take it from me no good can come from dating from here, in my case she just could not commit to coming off here and us being exclusive. The paranoia in the end ruined what was a really great relationship
