I'm afraid it's going to hurt no matter what you do with it - put a pin in it and drain it but don't remove the skin - let it fall off on its own.

Heather don't burst the blister !!!!!... That's what lets infection in ... Just let it go down on its own , the fluid is repairing and protecting the damaged burnt area .... Ignore the boys advice lol

It will also heal faster. The body does know how to treat it self.

Try to protect it from temperature extremes too. The new skin under the blister is real sensitive. Maybe a protective dressing to prevent puncture and padding.
