Of no reply mean no thanks changed somehow?

I can get a lot of messages a day, and standard etiquette says if you dont reply, you should treat it as a polite no thanks. I think there may actually be warnings to remind you that you've messaged without reply. Yet so many people here ignore it and spam like it will make them miraculously change into prince charming

I'll tell you what it does on my end. It tells me you can't respect a no. In what world would it be a good idea to meet someone like that who doesnt respect no, even if not explicitly stated, but more politely implied

It tells me that you can't read my profile which clearly says I will block spammers. It tells me I have absolutely no interest in risking a meet with someone

It tells me you are desperate and that isn't what I am looking for

It tells me you dont know how to treat someone with respect

"Hear hear! Men takes notes please "

I've tried the nice approach of messaging everyone back with a polite no thanks.

Some think its an opening to chat. Some think its an invitation to chuck abuse at me like they didnt contact me first.

Some actually accept it and move on.

Either way, the bad ones moved me to the silent response

Secret

I respect a polite reply saying no rather than someone just looking and nk replying or if they delete the message I can take the hint as well, haha

Why not use the block feature? Or you could hide your profile and select who you want, sure there are plenty ways to avoid abusive messages.
