Yea well nobody’s forcing you

It’s a good way for non “experts “ like yourself to find out about farming, rural life and where their food actually comes from ie not initially out of a packet

I'm looking forward to it but I'm a bit disappointed how expensive the tickets are.

Especially when you think about the cost of food and alcohol. I also like to check out the stalls.

I can easily spend £100 or more on the day.

It's still a great day out though.

Never been to it, never been tempted, but you have to celebrate the number of people it draws in.

I know several people that make a full weekend of it, but you have to wonder how many actually expand their "fun" radius and go to things in the centre of town as well?

🤣😂🤣🤣 £50 per ticket, so £100 per couple

Plus £15 to park, which must be booked online

1 pint on Innis & Gun official beer = £7.50

Who said Farmer's are skint?

2 hour traffic queues, my wife said shove the Highland Show where the Sun don't shine.

Guess what, we're giving it a miss this year as it's the same old crap, same old crowds and same old hassles.

Hope everyone who's going has fun

Exactly. Everybody should go to the highland show at some point and have they eyes opened to what it takes to produce food.

You don't need to go to RHS with its rip off prices and huge queues. There are plenty of Highland shows all over Scotland at various weekends over the summer
