Morning so I am going to be chauffeuring my son to the gig next Thursday and I was hoping for some advice and wisdom in regards to parking nearby.

Ive never driven to hampden before and won't be leaving Stirling until 4 or 4:30pm due to him being at college all day.

Is there anywhere good that doesnt cost an arm and a leg to park or am I better off dropping off close by and just leaving the area until im due to collect him?

Ive heard people rent driveways. Is that a legitimate thing?

Thats a decent shout, short walk won't be a bad thing and then I can just wander about until it finishes

I’d stay well clear of Asda. It’s just a massive bottle neck with the lights. Parked there once and took over an hr getting out

Whenever I’m at big football matches I park up by kings park station on menock road. Can nip through rutherglen and burnside from the m74. Then just a 15 mins walk in from there.

Whenever I've driven there I tend to stay nearer rutherglen cross. Its a bit of a walk but you'll be thankful when your walking quicker than the line of parked cars. Only thing to remember is park on the side of the road facing away from Hampden or you'll queue for a while waiting for someone to let you in

Thanks for the tips, I might jump between both locations depending how long I'm allowed at each one for without getting a ticket lol

If you’re up by kings park station. There are no restrictions. It’ll probably become quite busy with people going to the concert. If you’re not going in, there’s chippys by the south eastern entrance or more in mount florida if walking through after dropping off.

I do like a chippy now and then might be worth the wander as ill have plenty time on my hands
