Looking for recommendations on day time hotels in or around Hamilton/airdrie areas?

Either needs to be able to book a room for 3 people or it be easy to get a 3rd person to the room (don't go to hotels often and know some hotels have a receptionist not sure if they question anything)

It’s easy enough to get an extra person in.

The big problem in a lot of places isn’t the receptionist stopping you - they switch shifts between each other during the day all the time so have no idea who is staying and who isn’t. It’s the lift or locked door to the stairs or hallways where you need a keycard that a lot of hotels have to stop non residents getting in to the rooms.

The easy thing to do is just check in as normal and ask for a second key card, then later go outside and give that to your third - or just all come in and go up together. Receptionists really don’t care or pay enough attention lol.

Motherwell

The receptionist dont really care in my opinion. I stay in hotels lots for work and as someone else said you rarely see the same person twice. I did have a recent meet in Ravenscliff a hotel in Motherwell (cheap n cheerful), rooms are decent and you book in at reception and rooms are across the carpark so no one knows if you are taking an extra person in.
