It's not really an 'either or..' question as we are both. Of course people will sometimes have a preference for what they like to be called but we're fine with both of them.

Im a Scot and proud.

But instead of dwelling on this irritant of being regarded as scots and or British.

World war 2, we pretty much had to be British, be very together as one in order to stop being invaded and becoming called god knows what.

Dyou think if Hitler took over England he would of opted to just not bother with scotland,, why? Because we are proud? He would'nt of given a monkeys and as i said, god knows what our country would be called.

I'm proud to be Scottish and British. Whenever I register in a hotel I put my nationality down as British but if anybody asks me where I am from I usually say I'm Scottish (I don't have too strong an accent).

Kitten is jockanese and im british.

But what defines what nationality you are. One of my sons was born in london the other in alexandria vail of leven hospital.

my farther was scotish and my mother of irish decent.( right mix there).

Also jesus was born in a stable does that make him a horse.?

I guess if u where born in Scotland you would call yourself Scottish but as your passtport states your a British Citizen wherever you where born .
