"Doing the marathon in may and thaught It might be a nice idea if anyone else is doing it or the half to have a place to talk about how they’re training is going with like minded fabbers. I will be traveling down and making a weekend of it so lots of time for coffee and socials. Excited to try it as Iv only ever done Loch Ness marathon so hoping for a good PB on a flat course. Hoping for sub 3 myself, what everyone else goals for it? " What was your time at Loch Ness? 6 x marathoner here. 3:00:06 my PB. | |||

Does anyone have tips for dealing with knee pain and training in general. " Tape, and decent trainers, try a few pairs to see if any help the knees. But definitely tape them up, YouTube videos are good for how to do it. | |||

Trainers did me okay for half marathon last year and not actually done many more miles since then but might be worth a switch now. | |||

I'm concentrating on gym work at the moment and hopefully that helps Back out running later in the week with new shoes | |||
