Hi all, just a wee post to see if anyone has tried speed dating and if they have any advice or if it's worthwhile at all? Been considering it for a while but been unsure and nervous about attending. Any info would be greatly appreciated thanks x

I actually quite fancy trying it too. I did a blind date online version of it on the dating app that sounds like crumble I’m sure it was, and it was good to just get shot of some men after a few minutes as their online chat was so bad 🤣

I've never tried a vanilla dating event, but did try the 1st speed dating event in Ecclesia with a couple of friends. It was good fun, & chatted to people I maybe wouldn't have normally

Ecclesia_Glasgow run a swingers one every couple of months in the club - it’s absolutely top notch and a great night. No need to be nervous about that one as it’s all really friendly and welcoming. A bit of social with some ice breakers to get people chatting and interacting before the speed dating part of it starts. Their next one is on 14th March if you’re feeling brave enough.
