So I’m a tactile female !

Normally this kind of personality is more typical in males and in females it tends to be those on the spectrum ( hello lol

)

My attention span isn’t the best and I’m the worlds worst for remembering names unless there’s been a real connection or something that’s triggered me ( however if I’m distracted even folk I’ve known for years their names can sometimes elude me)

What this means for me is unless you’ve captured my attention either positively or negatively, or there’s been some physicality connection (that could simply be meeting in a club or pub where I’m physically present)

If we’ve only ever just chatted briefly the likelihood of you being stored in my RAM (short term memory/quickly accessible memories) I ain’t going to have a clue who you are !!

As above if you’ve triggered me(offended me or captured my interest) then somewhere either in my RAM or hard drive(long term memory) I might just remember you !!

Oh so may guys messaging like hey long time no chat and I have no clue who the fook they are lol

So many men getting offended when you have no clue who they are but you’ve never even met them lol

Those is 100% me. Im horrendous with names. I had this recently in a bar, a lady came up, long time no see, hows things? I looked at her, zero memory of face. "Cant lie, I have no idea who you are" not impactful enough to reamin in my brain. Although she told me her name again, and how I knew her, I have since forgotten her name again. As was said above, for someone to stay in my head the need to be really good or really bad.

Years ago we had HD (Hard Disc) now we have SSHD (Solid State Hard Drive)

It certainly beats having a 3.1/2" Floppy

I guess that's what this place and life in general does. Beats you to the ground and fucks you in the ass if you let it.

I’m so glad I’m not the only one who’s like this. I honestly thought it was my brain fog kicking in and felt bad when the guys get annoyed expecting to remove them from like years ago. It doesn’t help they don’t include a face picture n their profile has zero info on it … Messages will go back n forth playing this guessing game and I’ll still not get it 🤦🏽‍♀️🤣 think men forget we get so much mail and on top of that so much happens in real life fab life isn’t priority. This post made me chuckle I totally relate to this 🤣🤣🤣

Guy messaged the other week, hey how you been? Only a torso pic, newish profile, no history of chatting.

He explains that we had a coffee followed with a snog in his car.

Cannot find this is my data bank 🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️ even after a face pic.

Agree to another coffee.

He turns up 20 mins late and was boring AF. Had to literally drag conversation out of him.

Cue sudden flashback to our first coffee 😫😫😫

No wonder he wasn't stored in memory. Made my excuses... literally got my pal to phone with an emergency 🤣🤣🤣

Blocked him later that day and basically told the truth as to why 😇

I’ve always thought I was a bit weird when it came to my approach on fab. I love meeting new people and making new pals, but oddly for a scene website I have never prioritised the sexual side of it. It’s actually had other guys tell women I’m “too scared to have sex” which makes me laugh every time I recall hearing the conversation. As time, and by that I mean the years, has gone by I have realised that I’m actually not alone in that approach at all.

I always value good chat, a banging night out and making new friends much closer than being pumped and blanked for a while. I’ve had some absurdly cracking social events, nights at clubs and wee fun dates across my time meeting the best of people. Don’t get me wrong the sexual side of fab is also fucking great fun when you find the people that match you but we all know that it is not as easy or simple to achieve as that sounds.

A pump and go isn’t in the memory but friends and fun nights of laughter get stored in the hard drive
