"What about the club in Dundee? Do locals go there ? " I’ve tried the club a few times but it doesn’t seem well supported from locals and just before Xmas it was rumoured it may close if it doesn’t pick up, which is a shame as they have spent money on the club | |||

"Dundee is very quiet unfortunately. Has been for a while. Still get organised socials now and then but a few years ago they used to really busy." They used to be so busy miss the organisers from back then that put on the big ones with a dj, buffet,etc. Remember my first one for many different reasons. There is still ones in dundee just a smaller scale and not big events like Aberdeen and Glasgow etc. | |||

"I attended club Bacchus last night and there were three cpls in the lounge and one cpl down in the play area, there was also a single female and myself and of course Heather. So, if you lot had come along and mingled then it wouldn’t be so quiet in Dundee 😉 Everyone was friendly and open and engaged in conversation and fun was had by some down in the play rooms. If only the people on this post had attended then it wouldn’t have been near as quiet, just saying, use it or loose it. " Been to club Bacchus a few times, enough to make my mind up to not go back. I won't repeat what ive said in previous threads about the club. Its easy to search and see threads of whats been said and how staff respond back. Also other clubs don't struggle or have the same problems.  | |||

Yes the fab side is a bit slow, Edinburgh and Glasgow have a bigger population so it’s alway going to be busier But since I put this post up I’ve had lots of pm’s I’ve had more messages in the last 2 weeks than the last 6 years ! If you mean people outside Dundee, yes people still use this derogatory nickname. I've heard more recent years shift to Sundee as it is recongized as the sunniest city in Scotland (hard to believe with all the rain and wind recently). | |||

"Ahhh yes, I agree dundee is very quiet. There are actually comments from other dundee couples in this thread that we have met up with and had a fantastic time, but as they say alot of people like ourselves tend to meet outwith just for our jobs! We have never attended the club or social..have always said we will but bottle it when it comes to it. As for the other comment I feel someone not from dundee stating that Dundonians call it scumdee... not sure where that has come from 🤣🤣.
