Now we're on the right side of heading to spring/summer, is there anyone interested in planning some hill/nunro walks, or trail walks, like WHW, or Rob Roy Way etc?

Was actually out yesterday, did Bracklinn Falls and Callander Crags.

Got soaked to the skin right enough but a nice wee stroll to get 2026 started

Only had the time for some short hikes in the Galloway forest recently. Still nice to get out in the wild and the dog loves it.

Different tbing but i will be running my second Glencoe Gathering Marathon this September.

I used to do The Caledonian Challenge which was 54 mile to be completed over 24 hours. They cancelled it after 20 odd years.

I loved it.

Nice wee walk today around the Carbeth Huts

A loop around the Hut systems near the West Highland Walkway.

Cup of coffee at the wee coffee hut that is there now.

What used to be the old Carbeth Inn for all you bikers out there. Used to ride my old Honda out there back in the day, so nice to actually take the time to walk around today

Went out yesterday up into the Ochils

Slipped and busted my knee. Tore my ACL back in my 20’s that was treated because the consultant was anti- boxing and I was active at the time so he fucked my career

So over the years it has plagued me at the worst moments. An hour into the hills and I slipped, dislocated the f*****g thing.

So I’m sitting here on my own feeling sorry for myself.

Out of action for some time now.

I’m very keen to walk with others, possibly even used for dares or being forced to walk naked, or carry bags.

I’m in the Lake District in the summer for a weeks walking and wild camping if anyone would like to meet up for some of it or make use of me on route!
