So I have a friend, known each other for years, she's like one of the boys, good laugh and banter etc

While it started with some flirting and stuff, I made my intention clear that I definitely would and she thought I was just joking but then one time it finally happened and it was great, long session with breaks and just having a chat and laughs in-between going again

it kind felt a bit weird after the first time cause we where mates and all that and we didn't want that to change but we know we had a lot of fun and can have a lot of more fun so I can tell when she's in the mood and I know it's going to happen that night

THAT you DO treat as a friend who you do go out with who you do see outside of the bedroom who you are legitimately FRIENDS WITH and who you ALSO have SEX BENEFITS as well..

To many people omit the FRIENDS element out.. if you're not doing things with them that you do with friends they aren't a friend with benefits..

I think it can differ but this is how i view them....

FWB is someone who you have a bond with and respect. You choose to spend time with them not only for sex.

FB is someone you have an amazing connection with and you plan repeat meets for sex.

I think the whole deal of friends with benefits can be a tricky one to navigate . it takes alot of communication in what each party wants and alot of the times can have the propensity to get missunderstood either by each other or from people looking in .

For me friends with benefits is someone who you trust and can socialise with aswell as having sex ,devoid of any commitment and expectations of commitment . kinda like a i'll scratch yours you scratch mine kinda deal .

A fuckbud is someone who you have no other interest in other than having sex when you need it .

Aslong as communication to what each of you expect and want from the situation then it can be a great thing , and given both or one dont change the goal posts futher down the line .

This had been my experience also.

But we went on dates and adventures too.

A fuck buddy I would say is just turn up and fuck. Very little convo in between times. Whereas a FWB I see as being a best buddy you have sex with and do fun things.....but with a clear understanding its not a relationship

Loads of laughs the odd flirting and someone to vent to when things weren’t good We had a night out other friends had called of and we went to a party on our own things got heated that night.
