Best bars/nightclubs in Edinburgh?

I’m having a city break on my own and wish to have a night out. Thanks!

Hi mate, it all depends on what sort of places you enjoy.

Do you prefer more chilled pubs? Or maybe somewhere a little more lively with maybe live music?

Most probably a pub/bar or two before a nightclub to be honest. I haven’t been out for a while so want to see what it has to offer and looking to meet new people!

Grassmarket is always a good place to start, a few really good pubs next door to each other.

Also Rose Street would be worth walking along. As for night clubs I’m not too sure mate. I prefer bars/pubs that have live music.

Boston Bar on Hanover street is meant to be really good, Irish bar and there’s always bands playing etc.

Hope that helped you out a little mate.

Always enjoy sitting in the Dome and just watching the world go by whilst admiring the roof.

Other fave’s, and a wide mix:

The Baillie

Kay’s Bar

Indigo Yard

Thistle Street Bar

Golfers Tavern

Hectors
