Commes De Garcon - "2" is like an orgasm in a bottle. Unreal.

Other faves are Abercromie & Fitch 'Fierce' and the yellow one from there (can't remember its name)

Also big lover of original Tommy Hilfiger.

I've used Viktor Rolf spice bomb for a good lot of years and women are always asking what it is .. current ran out and defaulting to a lovely sweet 90s youthful joop original I use to be saturated in ..lol . But doesn't really fit with me now ..

I find aftershave such a massive turn on. Like it can make me shut my eyes and take me off somewhere if I smell a nice one in the supermarket or something 🤣🤣

So many good ones but I love Sauvage and Invictus. Knicker droppers lol but fragrances smell different on everyone

Are Sauvage and Invictus both a fairly "fresh and light" fragrance, if you know what I mean?

Just curious - do people swap their fragrances for the seasons ?

I have the Aqua Di Parma Blue Med fragrance which I guess is perhaps aimed at summer but I wear all year round.

I think any fragrance will enhance the natural smell regardless of season so that’s my rationale!

I rarely change fragrances and keep to my staples, changing once every decade, if at all. The three for me, depending on occasion or season, are:

• Hermés: Eau d'Orange Verte (I've been wearing this for 35 years)

• Penhaligon's: Blenheim Bouquet

• L'Occitan by L'Occitane

ㅤㅤ

My first new scent in years is Penhaligon's Juniper Sling. I think I'm sticking with it.

Too many on the dressing table but all time Fav is... -

Issey Miyake L'Eau D'Issey Pour Homme Eau De Toilette. Unmistakable!

Awesome bargain, day-2-day, Lidl (yes Lidl) G. Bellini "HOMME" in the blue box - round blue bottle, similar looking to Hugo Boss - and inside it's genuine Hugo Boss!!! £4.99/75ml in Lidl - it's £20 on Amazon.

Gym Bag Fav, day-2-day, Superdrug - Bespoke Gin & Citrus Woods EDP 100ml - And Bespoke Fresh Citrus and Vetiver Edp -both £9.99/100ml. (£12.99 Amazon)

In fact any of the BESPOKE range!

And finally - amazing shop discovery - if you are travelling to Tenerife, the unusual Taxation status there means all fragrances m/f are ridiculously cheap in the main High Street shops. About one/third of the price of UK discount sellers. And stranger still, it's more expensive in Duty Free at the airport for the flight back home!

My recommendations!

Enjoy

Sorry, I should have said, all 3 above are the ones regularly commented on by ladies and men when I am wearing. My Barber has even started stocking the Lidl 'HOMME' EDT.

Wearing an extra squirt in your hair will make the fragrance last all day. Any fragrance on the skin is broken down by the natural Enzymes and Bacteria on the skin relatively quickly. Hair is dead skin cells so none of these Enzymes live there!

No problem. I'll send you a picture direct as can't attach on this Thread. There are a few Lidl Men's Fragrances.

I have one in the door pocket of the car; one at the front door and one in the gym bag. I've been getting them for years.

I was actually in Lidl this afternoon and picked up a bottle of Homme (there was one left but lots of the others, which maybe tells a story)

It's impressive for a £4.99 cologne! I've read a few online reviews and even the "experts" are surprised.

Certainly good enough to be included for daily use rather than using the expensive stuff...

I'm really getting into dupes at the moment. And especially for expensive ones.

My tip is to go into House of Fraser's as they have tons of them. Find ones you like, try them over a few days to see which last and you enjoy.

Then use Fragrantica to see if there is another cheaper alternative that people say smells the same, for example M&S do good similar scents, or search for the scent then "dupe" on Google.

I've heard Fragrance World do good Tom Ford dupes and the bottles look similar, but I use a Swedish dupe company for Parfums de Marly dupes that are great!
